Flora and Fauna

A comb of ‘kanral’ bees. They build the hives on tree branches and their honey is much loved especially by the Kolam tribesmen.
Rock bees, who produce a dark honey. They build their hives on cliff faces, but their honey is not very tasty and difficult to reach. Note the long ladder used to access them. This is collected mainly by the Kolam tribes.
A comb of ‘kanral’ bees. They produce a particularly delicious honey.
My morning alarm clock. A cock crowing on my roof top at sunrise every day.
A beautiful bed of dried wild flowers in the forest.
